![]() ![]() The frontend is used for managing and integrating multiple emulators and executables seamlessly under a single interface. It is not an emulator and it won't play games but it will act as a media manager and instruct an emulator to play a game and quit the emulator when you are ready to choose another game or emulator. How can we make this work so that we don't have to keep bringing up the task manager, killing the frontend, and running MAME directly? In a pinch, it'll probably do, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get a full list of available games from MAME itself, so having them show up in the cabinet's frontend emulator would be best. Maximus Arcade is a frontend for managing numerous emulators and executables. It looks like the frontend software is capturing all keyboard input and interpreting it in its own way. The whole thing's backed by a PC running Windows 8. Trouble is - we can't seem to be able to add more ROMs to it. Others may want to try it on there setup just to confirm it works with different hardware setups. That is good news, that program has been around for ages.
